About the author:

Kai Conradi is a poet and short story writer who grew up on K’ómoks territory in Cumberland, B.C. Their work has appeared in Poetry, The Malahat Review, PRISM international, Grain, and The Best Canadian Stories 2019, and was shortlisted for the 2019 Journey Prize. Kai is currently completing an MFA in poetry at the University of Victoria.
